A glimmer in your eyes
Is worth a thousand smiles
Your smooth sleek hand
Sends a chill to my heart
As your soft smile goes away
Rejection, sadness
The shining eyes you once had
Are dull
Weak
And broken
Watching from a distance
You gaze at my face
My heart is now stone
As is yours
When I see you
And our spirits collide
A chill is sent to my heart
Now, the warmth you once had is gone
Replaced with a sheer cold
My heart is cracked, broken into pieces
While you look away in your sorrow
