Dear love

dear love,
is too big a sin to dream,
of sunny days and sandy bays,
of lovebirds gowned in white,
making imprint of bare feet,
onto the wet beach?
warm kisses on the cool breeze?
of seduction melodies,
in an afternoons' heat?
dear love,
would you blame me,
for making a wish,
for the lady he hurts,
the lady whose face he bruise,
whose eye he blackens,
to be mine,
a queen for mine kingdom,
the light for my world,
and would hold it against her,
for leaving him?
oh dear love,
love that lives on,
would you judge me,
if i lost trust in you,
coz of the scenes i see,
of vows that never get,
past that old chapels' door,
of promises broken,
at another mans' house?
dear love,
will you really answer me?
