pitiful and sad faces

pretense took my sight today,
masked in pitiful and sad faces,
as i stood a watch at a berieving home,
an old ladys' last farewell it was,
and these wolves in sheep skin the crowd,
a bunch of what seemed to be mourners,
but hypocrites they all looked to me,
of drunkards seeking a meal,
and the last respect that lacked,
a people filled with greed,
a society devoid of morals,
a world so changed it appeared,
until the dead can't rest in peace
